Anthony’s ambition to sail competitively led to an Olympic campaign in the Laser class, which created opportunities that saw him spend the next 15 years racing yachts all around the globe as a professional sailor. Anthony competed in the Volvo Ocean Race (formerly Whitbread Race) three times, an Americas Cup campaign in 2007 as well as almost every major international offshore yacht race.
Anthony met his wife, Amanda, a local Cambridge girl, and in 2007 the two of them returned to Cambridge. In 2009 Anthony launched his real estate career, with a particular focus on lifestyle properties around Cambridge and the Waikato. Anthony also trained as an auctioneer, conducting auctions for farms, residential and lifestyle properties across the Waikato. His training and experience as an auctioneer helps him to better understand the way people operate when buying and selling properties, this experience aids to make the process as smooth as possible whilst achieving the best possible result for his clients.
